about

A song about bad weather, uncertainty and the corruption of ones' home. It also has a theremin solo!

This is perhaps the hardest song we've ever put together. It started with me getting inspired by the soundtrack of "Big Trouble in Little China" to write a song based around sequencers, but grew into an impossibly complex and challenging piece of music to put together.

What started as a synth demo I recorded during a blizzard (and for the blizzard?) has become a big part of where my frustrated energies have gone while I am working toward a big move. To say I have been stressed is an understatement, and I think this song was my healthy way of dealing with that.

There are lyrics for this, but at the moment they are too close to me. I think they will show up when this song makes it to CD, but for now we're presenting this as an instrumental. I do think the song works very well either way so perhaps in the future you will also be able to compare both versions and tell me which one you like best !

I want to thank Nate, Derek and Derek for sticking to this song to make it the best it can be. They elevated it completely and most of their arrangements comes from them. Also I want to thank everyone who has supported me these past 5 years, I can't wait to start making music for you again !
